But if he had never told her, he finally established that he had known his HIV status since 2000 and that he had recently, on his own initiative, reduced his triple therapy.

Curieusement, son concubin devient distant et quelques semaines après, le test de dépistage du Sida effectué sur la quinquagénaire se révèle positif et la contamination est récente. Son ancien compagnon s’enferre dans le silence. Se défausse. Mais, s’il ne lui avait jamais rien dit, il est finalement établi qu’il connaissait sa séropositivité depuis 2000 et qu’il avait depuis peu, de son propre chef, amoindri sa trithérapie.

In August 2013, a few weeks after moving to the Pyrénées-Orientales with her partner, she contracted the AIDS virus. Her companion having immediately gone away, and in the face of the impossibility of having explanations, she had filed a complaint.

En août 2013, quelques semaines après avoir emménagé dans les Pyrénées-Orientales avec son compagnon, elle avait contracté le virus du Sida. Son compagnon s’étant aussitôt éloigné et devant l’impossibilité d’avoir des explications, elle avait déposé plainte.
Le tribunal va au-delà des réquisitions du procureur
L’enquête avait permis de mettre à jour qu’il était traité pour sa séropositivité depuis treize ans et qu’il n’en avait pas prévenu sa compagne. Sa précédente femme l’avait déjà quitté après avoir découvert la maladie qu’il lui avait également cachée.
Le tribunal a été au-delà des réquisitions du procureur qui avait demandé une peine de 30 mois de prison, dont six avec sursis. Un mandat d’arrêt a été immédiatement prononcé à l’encontre du prévenu absent à l’audience.
