I was hired as an expat teacher, I was required to provide an hiv test result which then was non reactive. Upon arrival, we were then asked to take an hiv test for work permit, a day after I was asked to go to a government facility to do a retest and after which, I was then asked to move out of the country. I am not sure if it is my employer’s decision or it was really a policy. I respected that though and obliged, however, it is misleading to say that there’s no restrictions at all as I experienced it myself. This happened in Ulaanbaatar.
