CAGLIARI, MARCH 30 – A man from Cagliari risks up to twelve years of imprisonment, after being accused of having transmitted AIDS to his wife, and having kept secret the fact that he had contracted the HIV virus in 1997 because of his addiction. The woman, almost ten years later, discovered the infection following a hospitalization due to the onset of the first symptoms of the disease. On 22 June the defendant – defended by the lawyers Riccardo Floris and Roberta Boi – will have to present himself before the judges of the First Criminal Section of the Court of the Sardinian capital to defend himself against the imputation of serious injuries and threats, these linked to the very difficult phases of separation from his wife who had filed a complaint in 2014. To dispose of the indictment was the Gup Giampaolo Casula who accepted the requests of the pm Nicoletta Mari. The woman has formed a civil party with the lawyer Pierandrea Setzu.
CAGLIARI, 30 MAR – Rischia una condanna sino a dodici anni di reclusine l’uomo di Cagliari accusato di aver trasmesso l’Aids alla moglie, tenendole nascosto il fatto di aver contratto il virus dell’Hiv già dal 1997 a causa della sua tossicodipendenza. La donna, quasi dieci anni più tardi, aveva scoperto il contagio a seguito di un ricovero dovuto all’insorgenza dei primi sintomi della malattia. Il 22 giugno l’imputato – difeso dagli avvocati Riccardo Floris e Roberta Boi – dovrà presentarsi davanti ai giudici della Prima sezione penale del Tribunale del capoluogo sardo per difendersi dal l’imputazione di lesioni gravissime e minacce, queste legate alle tesissime fasi di separazione dalla moglie che aveva poi presentato una denuncia nel 2014. A disporre il rinvio a giudizio è stato il Gup Giampaolo Casula che ha accolto le richieste della pm Nicoletta Mari. La donna si è costituita parte civile con l’avvocato Pierandrea Setzu.
