US: Kentucky prisoner with HIV who threw urine on prison officer charged with attempted murder, 2nd degree assault and 3rd degree assault

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — A Metro Corrections inmate is facing additional charges after he was accused of assaulting an officer. According to court documents, 22-year-old X, who police said is H.I.V. positive, threw a cup of urine on a corrections officer “exposing his head, face, neck, shoulder and chest area,” to the bodily fluid.
