A Rock Hill woman is behind bars after a man told police he had sex with her when she knew she was HIV-positive. The victim, a 42-year-old Rock Hill man, told officers he picked up 40-year-old  X in late August and drove her to the 900 block of Blackmon Road where the couple engaged in intercourse. The man told police late last week he had become aware that X was HIV-positive and that she knew she carried the virus when they engaged in the act. Police documents released Monday show the arresting officer checked previous booking slips which indicate X was HIV-positive. The report also identifies X as a known prostitute.

X was arrested for Exposing other to the HIV virus and remains in jail on $25,000 bond.
