Chelyabinsk electrician convicted of HIV infection of two women
According to Olesya Khlyzova, senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Leninsky district, the 44-year-old citizen was found guilty by the court under article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for infecting two people with HIV infection. According to the prosecution, the man was married, worked as an electrician, was officially registered as infected with the human immunodeficiency virus, knew that it was dangerous to others and was warned of criminal liability. However, he did not heed the warnings.
“From May 2015 to February 2017, the accused met on an dating site with two women, 50 and 45 years old, and entered into an intimate relationship with them,” said Olesya Khlyzova. “Both ended up infected with HIV.”
In court, the accused denied his guilt for a long time: at first he claimed that he was not even familiar with the victims, then – that he did not have close relations with them. However, the court leaned to the version of the investigation. As a result, the patient was taken into custody in the courtroom, the next five years he will spend in the general regime colony .
We add that 600 thousand rubles were recovered from the man in favour of the victims.

Как сообщила старший помощник прокурора Ленинского района Олеся Хлызова, 44-летний горожанин признан судом виновным по статье 122 УК РФ, за заражение двух лиц ВИЧ-инфекцией. По данным гособвинения, мужчина был женат, работал электриком, официально состоял на учете, как зараженный вирусом иммунодефицита человека, знал о том, что представляет опасность для окружающих и был предупрежден об уголовной ответственности. Однако предупреждениям не внял.
«С мая 2015 по февраль 2017 года обвиняемый познакомился на сайте знакомств с двумя женщинами, 50-ти и 45-ти лет, и вступил с ними в интимную связь, — расказала Олеся Хлызова. — Обе в результате оказались заражены ВИЧ».
В суде обвиняемый долго отрицал свою вину: сначала утверждал, что даже не знаком с потерпевшими, потом — что не имел с ними близких отношений. Однако суд склонился к версии следствия. В итоге больной был взят под стражу в зале суда, ближайшие пять лет он проведет в колонии общего режима.
Добавим, в пользу потерпевших с мужчины было взыскано 600 тысяч рублей.
