
Greenville County man charged with exposing another to HIV, report says
The Mauldin Police Department said a man has been charged for exposing another person to HIV.
According to an incident report, police were called to an apartment complex on July 12 in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they made contact with X who had warrants for his arrest and gave a fake name.
While investigating, police said X admitted the woman victim was seven months pregnant with his child and he didn’t want her to know that he had HIV.
Officials said X was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center for unlawful exposing others to HIV and financial identity fraud.
X was granted a combined $60,000 surety bond.
