PALM BEACH COUNTY — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested  a Black female, following an incident that authorities say escalated into a confrontation involving violence against law enforcement personnel and multiple serious allegations, according to official arrest records.

She was taken into custody on suspicion of Battery on Specified Personnel, Resisting an Officer Without Violence, and a charge classified as a Crime Against a Person involving an HIV-infected individual allegedly engaging in sexual activity without informing a partner. The arrest was filed by Agency 01 — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Law enforcement officials did not release details regarding the circumstances that led deputies to the scene, the identity of the specified personnel involved, or the context surrounding the HIV-related allegation. No information was provided regarding injuries or whether the alleged conduct occurred during the same incident as the reported resistance and battery.

Under Florida law, battery against specified personnel—including law enforcement officers—can result in enhanced criminal penalties. Additionally, allegations involving the failure to disclose known HIV status prior to sexual activity are treated as serious felony offenses and are subject to rigorous prosecutorial review.

The Boca Raton Tribune will continue to follow this case and report further developments as confirmed information becomes available.
