Moscow police filed a case against 46-year-old resident of the Belgorod region, who has infected his friend with HIV. Of this main department spokesman of the Interior Ministry in the capital Andrei Galiakberov informed the urban news Agency “Moscow”.
He explained that a 25-year-old native of the North Caucasus Federal District applied to the police and said that some time ago he voluntarily entered into an intimate relationship with his friends, and later learned that he was infected by HIV.
“During the inspection, staff of the Internal Affairs Directorate of South-Eastern District of Moscow detained a 46-year resident of the Belgorod region, who, knowing about his illness and foreseeing the possibility and inevitability of infecting another person has entered into an intimate relationship with the victim,” told A.Galiakberov.
A criminal case was filed under the Article “Transmission with HIV”, which involves up to five years in prison.
Полиция Москвы возбудила дело в отношении 46-летнего жителя Белгородской области, который заразил своего знакомого ВИЧ-инфекцией. Об этом Агентству городских новостей «Москва» сообщил руководитель пресс-службы главного управления МВД по столице Андрей Галиакберов.
Он пояснил, что в полицию обратился 25-летний уроженец Северо-Кавказского федерального округа, который сообщил, что некоторое время назад он добровольно вступил в интимную связь со своим знакомым, а позднее узнал, что заразился от него ВИЧ-инфекцией.
«В ходе проверки сотрудники УВД по Юго-Восточному округу Москвы задержали 46-летнего жителя Белгородской области, который, заведомо зная о своей болезни и предвидя возможность и неизбежность заражения другого лица, вступил в интимную связь с потерпевшим», – рассказал А.Галиакберов.
Уголовное дело возбуждено по статье «Заражение ВИЧ-инфекцией», которая предполагает до пяти лет лишения свободы.
