According to reports – a 37 year old Calhoun, Georgia man was arrested on Saturday Night (May 25th) after allegedly striking a woman in the face and smashing her automobile windshield while her 19 month old son was in the vehicle with her. Rome Police said 37 year old X was highly intoxicated – and when confronted by officers, he spat at them – knowing he had the HIV virus.

He was arrested and charged with one count of felony reckless conduct, and misdemeanor counts of simple assault by an HIV infected person on an officer, battery under the Family Violence Act and criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, five counts of simple assault – and cruelty to children. He currently remains behind bars without bond.
