Baldwin County Man Arrested for Spreading HIV Sentenced to 20 Years

The HIV infected man Baldwin County deputies arrested earlier this year pleaded guilty in court last week. According to Capt. Brad King with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, RS, 21, pleaded guilty to four counts of felony reckless conduct by an HIV infected person. He handed down a 20 year sentence. King says he will spend the first seven years in jail and the remaining 13 years on probation. King adds as part his plea deal, S must also register as a sex offender. S was arrested in March. He was accused of not telling his sexual partners that he is HIV positive.
